Review: I had an excellent experience working with Michael and Ryan from RK Design - they helped renovate my studio apartment in Manhattan and I couldn't be happier with the results! Michael was very thorough and detail-oriented in the planning process and patiently addressed all of my questions and concerns. Throughout the renovation, Michael and Ryan kept clear and constant communication, and handled my change requests with ease. Ryan and his team were always on time, very courteous, and tidy. Review: (A slightly delayed review, but definitely not from lack of value of service)
After meeting with a few contractors to do a full Kitchen and Bath gut renovation on our newly purchased co-op, I was so happy and at ease when I found RK Design. This is my first experience with a renovation and Michael was so patient and kind to answer my many, many questions on the phone and by email.
Michael, Ryan, and the whole team were supportive and responsive. The kitchen and bath went from being extremely outdated and run down to clean and modern. We were able to find everything we needed from vanity, to cupboards, to tile with their studio and managed to fit in 12' wide drawers our very small kitchen. Everything was completed with careful attention to detail in each step and request along the way. Even completing earlier than estimated.
I would highly recommend RD Design to anyone looking to upgrade their home. I know I will definitely call again when I look for future projects.

Review: I hired RK Design via a good friend’s recommendation to renovate a very old kitchen. The entire team from the initial phone call to the very end end was an absolute delight to work with. I was walked through all the steps and was given clear and constant communication throughout the entire process. Michael and Ryan were great with providing reassurance on any of my concerns when I asked for it. They were patient and thorough with my lack of knowledge on all things construction and the complexities of dealing with supers in old NYC CoOp buildings. I was truly blown away by their dedication to my project, time and property. Even when I did my final walk through and found a few minor issues - these were quickly addressed and fixed!!
