Review: Michael was so great to work with on a remodel of our bathroom and the addition of a wall to create an alcove hallway. He is responsive and communicated with me every step of the way. This was a project for a second home so I was not there to see things each day, and he would share photos and keep me up to date. Michael has excellent design sense and could help when I had questions about choosing things for the project. I highly recommend Michael/Stone Remodeling for any home renovation or remodeling!

Review: My husband and I hired Michael for a bathroom remodel in our Manhattan apartment and were thrilled with the communication throughout, the attention to detail, and the timing. And his pricing was at the lower-mid range of the 4 bids we received — so we were pleasantly surprised how thorough and professional his operations and team were.
As a (web) designer myself, I had very exacting standards about what we wanted and appreciated Michael’s ability to highlight some details I had overlooked and we needed to decide together — he was always able to clearly discuss any questions or decisions that came up along the way.
Ultimately, Michael’s team replaced the toilet, vanity, sink, medicine cabinet, all hardware, resurfaced the tub, and re-tiled our floors and walls. This is the only bathroom in our apartment - we greatly appreciated his ability to minimize the number of days we were unable to use the toilet (I believe it was only 1, or at most 2 days). Once I saw how fast yet precise his team worked, I asked him to adjust multiple doors in our house and install a built-in microwave — all of which he was able to add on and complete while the bathroom was wrapping up.
I can’t recommend him enough - amazing work!

Review: Michael and his team at Stone Remodeling were incredible to work with. I had my kitchen (partial), bathroom, and closets redone back in 2019. My bathroom needed entirely gutted and redone. He made sure every detail was perfect and timing went as close to schedule as possible. When there were any problems along the way, he made sure to take care of them swiftly and effectively. An accidental old pipe burst and Michael fixed not only my bathroom but the bathroom below my apartment which needed minor touchups. He and his team are diligent, respectful of your space, and do a beautiful job helping in design. They have superior craftsmanship that even after 5 years it still looks brand new to me! The product has held up perfectly and I'm so thankful that I chose Stone Remodeling to redo my much needed renovations on my apartment. Michael and his team are also great at communication. I was kept up to date each step of the way and knew that my remodeling was in good hands. If I ever had an issue, Michael was there to solve it immediately. Additionally, my budget was tight given this was one of my first home remodels. Michael worked with me on pricing and helped me cut where I could without sacrificing the good quality work and wanting my remodel last a long time. I cannot recommend them enough for ANY house project that you may need! I'm even considering hiring them again for another project I hope to complete one day. Hire them for anything and everything and you won't be disappointed!

Review: Stone Remodeling worked on remodeling a 'half-bath' bathroom to include a shower. Michael and his workers did excellent work and cleaned the work area (including apartment and public area) each day. I have no problem or issues with recommending Stone Remodeling, Inc.

Review: Amazing firm and I recommend it strongly.
They finished the active part of the renovation in 3 months - full Reno of 2B/2BA with kitchen and floor replacement, in the middle of UES co-op. For comparison, our neighbors had similar work done in a year or so due to various complications.
Michael has been nothing short of professional: timely, attention to details and consistency in delivery.
Just make sure you know what you want, hire designer/architect, have the planning down to smallest details, pre-order the materials.
